"Why is the FM9 different?"
For unknown reasons, the FM9 (and AXE FX III rear exp. inputs) are the only Fractal products that do not accept a stereo/TRS connection for external switches. This means one switch per input, with a maximum of 3 external switches for the FM9. Connects with 2 TS (mono) cables.
New for 2024: V2 includes side vents for airflow when placed next to your FM9 and a matching color.
